The meets listed below are predominantly those where permits have been arranged, or are to be arranged. Many other trips are arranged at short notice, and there is usually something going on, both weekends and midweek. To find out what people are doing this week get in touch. More information on some of what we get up to is also on our projects page.

April 2007

Oxlow - Maskhill Mines exchange trip. Peak District. Deep SRT trip grade 4. There is also a trip to P8 (grade 2) that day for beginners and anyone not wanting to do the exchange trip.
Easter Weekend in the Dales. Tatham Wife and Swinsto holes. SRT grade 2 to 3
Eldon Hole, Peak District. SRT trip grade 3.

May 2007

Ogof Agen Allwedd. South Wales. Trips of all grades possible. No SRT.
Meregill Hole. Dales. Grade 5 SRT. Will we make it down this time? Will the weather be kind?
Odin Mine. Peak District. Grade 3. SRT.

Caves are roughly graded 1 to 5 to give an indication of their difficulty. SRT/no SRT indicates if SRT skills are required. These are an indication only! No warranty expressed or implied.

Grade 1
Easy cave, no real difficulties or dangers
Grade 2
Moderate cave.
Grade 3
Cave or pot without particularly hazardous, difficult or strenuous sections.
Grade 4
Caves or potholes with some hazard, difficulty, or large underground pitch. Requires some stamina.
Grade 5
Caves or potholes with very strenuous sections, or large and wet underground pitches.
