CCPC (INTERIM) Newsletter No20 June 1989 Due to the trip to Czechoslovakia, there will be no newsletter until August. Here is a summary of the minutes of the May meeting plus other general interest. BARBECUE This has been arranged for the 15th July at Shugborough Hall. Cost will be £2 a head, dormatory and use of equipment inclusive (insurance pending) FILM SHOW No definite date or venue as yet, but it was suggested that there may be two venues, one at Shugborough and the other in Macclesfield (Mucky Duck). SRT SELF RESCUE PRACTICE The tower at Hendon High School has now been fitted with a platform so it can be used for teaching abseiling and rescue from a pitch head. UNDERSUITS "PROSHAW" of Mow Cop have suits for £15, jackets £10 and trousers for £5 (ex Dane Valley) but George has found them at some incredibly low price in Burslem. NEW MEMBER Liam Gilling.
